In the News: September 11th

The Manhattan Times explains, "This cross stands in the Memorial Garden of the Church of the Good Shepherd and is forged from two steel beams found at the World Trade Center site after the attacks on September 11th."

The Manhattan Times posted an article featuring Everyday Church’s September 11th project to ship care packages to soldiers serving in Afghanistan. We feel honored to be a part of something that brings our community together. Join us!

Love Prevails

On the tenth anniversary of those terrible attacks, we’re going to skip the sermon and instead roll up our sleeves to prepare and ship dozens of care packages to soldiers serving overseas. This is a great opportunity for friends and families to honor 9-11 and serve together. Tragedy strikes like lightning– we can’t control it. But we can always choose to love. When we do, Love Prevails.

When: 9-11-11, at 11:00am

Love Is Something You Do

This Fall, Everyday Church is starting an action-oriented series, full of opportunities to learn by doing. Love is much more than an idea or a feeling. “For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power” (1 Corinthians 4:20, NLT). In short, love is something you do.

Specifics to come, but in the meantime view the schedule at our Gatherings page.
