There’s a lot going on at Christmas time.
But there’s even more going on, under the surface.
Strange events preceded the first Christmas; mysterious reports of miracles and startling encounters with beings who do not belong in this world.
These messengers– these angels— were advancing a cosmic plot. Ancient prophecies were ripe. Underneath the census and donkeys and wise men, an invasion was underway, bringing unexpected tidings of great joy.
It’s true today as well. Shopping lists and stockings are only the surface. Don’t be snowed under by the good things, or swept away by the avalanche of should do’s. The Truth is out there. This series of messages will help open our eyes.
Annie is joining the staff of Everyday Church in the position of Pastoral Support. Annie will be helping us in a variety of ways, ranging from administrative support to leading volunteer teams that contribute to our teaching services.
