Parental Guidance Required

Daily life is Rated PG. Well, who are we kidding? It’s Rated R. Children are the next big thing and they need guidance from parents. This Sunday, Larry and Wendy Bennett will share important insights about parenting. They are the first to admit the mistakes they’ve made as parents. It’s not about being perfect. But understanding an important principal from the Bible can help make the difference between a horror movie and one with a happy ending.

Sunday, 11:00am, at 4862 Broadway * (map).

Invite someone in your life for down-to-earth, accessible teaching. And bring the little ones for age-appropriate experiences with Everyday Kidz.

New Series: The Next Big Thing

One day, they will rule the world. They will write our prescriptions. They will write our laws.

Today’s children are tomorrow’s decision makers. As silly as they sometimes are, children truly are the next big thing.

This is a series is for parents, sure. But it’s more than that. God cares deeply for children– specifically for children. God longs for the church to share his heart for children. You may never have kids or work directly with kids, but you can’t understand God fully without understanding his heart for young people. Like it or not, one day, we will depend on them.

We have got our work cut out for us.

This Sunday: “unworthy”

God is beyond our comprehension, but has made himself approachable. He has revealed a path to wisdom and power that is so widely available we tend to take it for granted. In a sense, it’s hidden right out in the open.

There was once an unnamed Roman officer who had the audacity to go directly to God, and became one of God’s unnamed heroes. His example illustrates something we need today as much as ever. So much of the Bible records God’s amazing activity. What this unnamed soldier did actually amazed God.

Come hear the story of our next unnamed hero this Sunday, 11:00am, 4862 Broadway (btwn Academy and 204th) *. During this series, Everyday Kids will be “Superhero Academy,” learning how God has given us all special talents and abilities that we can use to be heroes and save the day. Invite the little ones in your life to join us.
