Apr 9, 2013 | Community Impact, Everyday Kidz, Prayer

The feedback from our
Math Tutoring program has been very positive. Parents, students, teachers and school administration have all let us know they found our program to be very helpful. That is a huge win! We want to praise God for opening up this opportunity to work together with neighborhood schools. Our relationship with the school is a beautiful thing.
I am so thankful to the volunteers who gave up their Saturdays to make a difference in these student’s lives. Let’s pray they do well on the exams and sense the support of their families and community. Please pray that God continues to create opportunities like this to love our neighbors well.
Thanks for praying with me,
Wendy
Apr 6, 2013 | Everyday Groups, Prayer
There’s a new Everyday Group brewing. We’re calling it the Creativity Group, because we want to champion creativity in our neighborhood for God’s glory. We are all created in the image of God, the ultimate Creator. Therefore we all have creative potential within us. Humanity has always been in the business of creating– culture, art, music, family, poetry, organization, dance, you name it. This group will be a community that champions creativity to the glory of God, whether in our neighborhoods, our schools, our church, or our city.
Please pray for:
1) Me as I launch this new group.
2) Our leadership team: Jordan, Liz, BJ, Andrea, Casey, & Kelsey.
3) New people to get involved. (Is it you? A friend? A family member?)

By the way: we apologize for the recent (lack of) quality in our recordings. We’re working on the issue and hope to fix it soon!
