Ever wish someone would make you a cold, refreshing drink, and you’d actually have the time to sit down and enjoy it?

Or maybe you dream about just having some time to talk with other adults. It doesn’t have to be a dream! Join others for Mom’s Refreshment, a time to share experiences, find advice, give support and hopefully make new friends. Bring your little ones for some playtime too. We meet every second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 10-11:30am.

The Everyday Inwood Group

is serving at the Hudson Point Nursing Home in Riverdale. This is the first time this group will be serving there, so it’s a great time to get involved. It will be a Tea Time Meet & Greet with residents. For more info, contact Kate: Email Kate. This Sunday, 9/22, 12p-3p

The Everyday Creativity Group

is welcoming a representative from Gifted Hands to their meeting. Come learn about this incredible organization that tries to make equal opportunity to education a reality through a variety of artisitc endeavors. For more info, contact Nathan: Email Nathan. This Sunday, 9/22, 7:30p

The Everyday Family Group

Medieval Festival 2011-5

is offering “Ye Olde Baby Changing Station” at the Medieval Festival. Help set up the tent, or dress up like a Princess and offer a safe place for attendees to to change their little ones– something local parents are extremely grateful for! Prayer For Us: 40 Days of Prayer, Week 3

This is Week 3 of our 40 Days of Prayer (leading up to having our Teaching Services every Sunday on Oct 13th!). By the end of this week, you’ll be halfway through! Recommit yourself to praying everyday. This is a season of intense prayer. It can be be hard work, and requires diligence, but it will be worth it.

We are also challenging Everyday participants to fast one day each week during this season of prayer (and perhaps participate in a longer fast with us on the final week). You can read some more information about fasting here: Fast. Will you fast this week? On which day?

Today begins Week 2 of our 40 Days of Prayer (leading up to having our Teaching Services every Sunday on Oct 13th!). You’ll find suggestions for each day below. Please continue to lift our church and our neighbors to God every day. If you are just joining us, then jump in!
