Church isn’t just something you go to, and it’s much more than just a building. In Paul’s letter to Timothy, (1 Timothy 3:15) he wrote, “God’s family is the church.” And that means us.
We’re the church. And we’re the family of God – every day.
Our faith family in Upper Manhattan, known as Everyday Church, is in fact, a family where you can be known and where you know that you belong.
Our gatherings are like a FAMILY REUNION: a celebration where relatives can catch up, share meals and memories, have fun and reflect together on life and God’s story.
That’s what our next teaching series is all about.
You don’t want to miss this chance to get to know your family, and to know the riches that we share as God’s family.

It’s that time of year again! And we could think of no better way to celebrate the start of Summer than by coming together as a body of believers to praise God – thank him for His faithfulness and cry out to Him for mercy, for our country, this city and our world.
We hope you can join us for a special night of worship and prayer, led by the Everyday Church band. We know that it’s going to be a powerful night. You don’t want to miss it! There will be time to sing, connect, pray and it’s also just going to be a lot of fun. All are welcome! Help us spread the word.

We all define our lives in different ways, whether we define it by how others view us, our past or our position in life. God wants to redefine our lives. Paul shares in his letter to the Galatians how the Gospel of Christ redefines everything. It not only changes how we view ourselves, (Gal. 4:7) but it also changes how we choose to live (Gal. 6:8b).

Everyday Church is so many things to so many people and it wouldn’t be here without Chris and Lindsay Travis. Their obedience to God’s calling to plant this church helped make it what it is today. We’re so thankful to Chris and Lindsay for their willingness to follow God, and also for who they are to us. We’re so grateful for their friendship, and we love them deeply.
This Sunday May 15th, you have a chance to show your gratitude, love and appreciation to the Travises. Join us at 11 a.m. (4862 Broadway) to worship the Lord, share a meal together, and show Chris and Lindsay how truly loved they are. We have some special things planned, so you don’t want to miss it.
Want to help? Show up at 10:30 a.m. on May 15th and report to the cafeteria or sign up to bring a dish for our meal (email Shera Scott, sherascottbx@gmail.com for what to bring).
