Mar 16, 2015 | Teaching
Not all days are the same. Friday certainly feels different from Monday. Some days are life changing. Weddings, birthdays, and graduations mark endings and beginnings of important seasons of our lives.
God wants to put a date like that on each of our calendars, a date that will mark, for all eternity, our rebirth into his forever family. It’s called baptism. This Easter, on the day we remember the day that changed everything, there will be an opportunity to receive baptism. Whether you are a brand new believer ready to “go all in,” or a long-time follower now ready to follow Jesus’ instructions about baptism, Save the Date.

Please pray for the participants and leaders of the Emotionally Healthy Skills course. The goal is to help people “do the Bible” by loving others well. The course confronts unhealthy habits and gives tools to become more emotionally healthy. But it’s hard work! Please pray with me:
Lord, thank you for the Emotionally Healthy Skills Course. Please empower the leaders & co-leaders to teach well. Break the lies of the evil one, and use these skills to help participants know and share the truth. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Feb 23, 2015 | Everyday Kidz, Prayer
Everyday Church exists to make disciples of Jesus. That’s also the mission of our Everyday Kidz ministry. During this teaching series the elementary students are memorizing Hebrews 13:5-6, “God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’ So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.‘”
Let’s pray together, “Lord, give us confidence in your love and protection. Help us to not be afraid but instead to trust in you. We pray this for ourselves and for our children.” Amen.
