Dec 14, 2011 | Everyday Groups
This Sunday in Home Groups, we’ll be looking at the infamous story of David and Bathsheeba from 2 Samuel 11. How is it that God called David a “man after my own heart” (1 Samuel 13:14), when David clearly had a dark side? Maybe there’s hope for us. Jesus’ Mother was, famously, a Virgin. Not true about the rest of Jesus’ ancesters. In the same way that God brought the Holy One into the world out of a long line of broken, flawed, and shady characters, he intends to form Christ in the midst of our own messy lives. Welcome to week two of The Not So Virgin Birth. For information about participating in a Home Group, Contact Us.
