Everyday Kidz: Science Sundayz

ScienceSundayz_title

This July, Everyday Kidz don lab coats and safety goggles for Science Sundayz.

Okay, maybe they won’t need safety goggles. But we’ve got some exciting, educational experiments planned for our Sunday experiences. Everyday Kidz will learn some science, and we’ll also use these experiments as metaphors for important spiritual truths.

Let’s help keep the academic side of Everyday Kidz brains from turning to jelly this summer. Bring your kids, your nieces and nephews, your neighbors’ kids, and all their friends. Spread the word!

New Teaching Series: Church Planter

ChurchPlanter_titleThis July, we welcome four incredible pastors and leaders to Everyday Church as guest speakers. Each of these men share a passion for helping others find their way back to God through church planting. They are each currently planting a church, or have in the past.

But that’s not necessarily what they’re going to talk about! We’re handing them the mic, and they’re going to talk about whatever is on their mind. So this will be a surprise for us too! Don’t miss these excellent communicators.

July 6: Aaron Brockett, Traders Point Christian Church, Indianapolis

July 13: Watson Jones, III, Restoration Church, Philadelphia

July 20: Jordan Rice, Renaissance Church, Harlem NYC

July 27: Rich Perez, Christ Crucified Fellowship, Inwood NYC

Pray For Us: An Update From Wendy

This past Sunday many of us celebrated our fathers, thanking them for their impact and love for us. But for millions of kids in the US and many living in our neighborhood, Father’s Day is a painful reminder that their dad is not around.

“But you, God see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.” Psalms 10:14

Please pray for opportunities for caring adults to be in their lives to help fill the gap that their fathers leave. Pray they would know their heavenly Father who loves them unconditionally.
