Have you ever felt uncomfortable asking somebody to pray for you? It can make you feel vulnerable sharing your personal struggles. But, we all need prayer. This week I’d like to ask you to pray for the staff of Everyday Church.
There isn’t any terrible crisis that any of us are going through, but I know that your prayers for us are really important. Would you pray for our strength, health and rest? Pray for our marriages, families and relationships. Also, please pray for our relationship with God. Pray the Holy Spirit would give us power to accomplish the jobs that God has called us to.
The apostle Paul was one of the first church leaders and he understood the need for prayer. In his letter to the church in Ephesus he said, “At all times, pray by the power of the Spirit. Pray all kinds of prayers. Be watchful, so that you can pray. Always keep praying for all of God’s people. Pray also for me” (Ephesians 6:18).
So, please pray for me. Please pray for Chris, Larry, Nathan, Matt and Annie too. We will continue to pray for you.
Love, Wendy
