New Teaching Series: Louder Than Words

Your character, more than anything else, will impact how much you accomplish in this life. It is more important than your talent, your education, your background, or your network of friends.

It’s critical for healthy friendships, family and church. It deeply affects the quality of our relationship with God. In fact, the shaping of our character into that of Jesus is one of God’s primary activities in our lives.

Throughout this new teaching series, Louder Than Words, we’ll explore a definition and understanding of character, as well as look at the effect of character (and a lack of character) on our relationships with God, ourselves, others and the community.

Services are on Sundays at 11 a.m. ET, at 4862 Broadway. Hope to see you there!

Current Teaching Series: Tell Your Story

Every follower of Jesus has a unique story. A story of how Jesus has changed our lives and brought us comfort during times of struggle and pain. How we share our stories with others has the power to change others lives and bring comfort as well. During this series we are going to look at ways followers of Jesus shared their own stories and how we can learn from their example. We will also hear from followers of Jesus today share their own stories of how their relationship with Jesus has changed their lives.

Join us at 4862 Broadway, on Sundays at 11 a.m. to learn more!

New Teaching Series: Upside Down Kingdom

God’s kingdom isn’t your ordinary kingdom and Jesus isn’t your ordinary King. As we study through the historical writings of Luke we find the story of a king whose kingdom shakes things up and turns everything upside down. In the kingdom of God; the first will be last and the last will be first, the lowly are lifted up and the powerful are put down, the strong are made weak and the weak are made strong, those who are outsiders are in and those with power and privilege are out. We will study through the life of Jesus, his teachings and the beginning of the church to see how this kingdom still has the power today to thankfully turn our lives upside down.

Join us this Sunday to learn more, 11 a.m. 4862 Broadway (2nd floor auditorium).
