October is full of opportunities to get involved with Everyday Church and to bring others along. Please mark your calendar and plan to participate. For details, stay in the loop by participating in Sunday Gatherings; check back here often for updates (subscribe at right to receive updates automatically); or Contact Us. This is going to be a great month!

(Sat) Dedication of the Mural at Inwood Academy behind PS 152 (map). 12pm-3pm. Watch the Video.

(Sun) Medieval Festival! Everyday volunteers will run the Welcome Center and “Ye Olde Baby-Changing Station” (trust us, neighborhood parents will be grateful). Volunteers will work 2 hours shifts and then enjoy the turkey legs and live-action Quidditch matches (not kidding). Great way to get a friend involved!

(Thr) Prayer at the Everyday office, 5030 Broadway Unit 630 (map) from 8pm-9pm. Seek the Father’s will with us.

(Sat) Apple Picking! We’ll caravan together upstate for fresh apples, apple cider, apple cider donuts, and apple picking. Great time with friends! Did we mention lots of apples too? 10am-5pm

(Fri-Sat)  Princess Camp, a two-day retreat for 4th-6th grade girls and Everyday women volunteers who are “young at heart.” Oct 21 from 7pm-9pm, and Oct 22 from 9am-3pm. Girls will discover their identity as “Daughters of Royalty” by getting to know their King. Girls will enjoy crafts, games and spa treatments aimed at teaching them Jesus’ view of their beauty and worth.

(Fri) 5030 Broadway Trick-Or-Treat 3pm-5pm (map) Hundreds of kids, bowls of candy, and games! We’ll need a ton of help to make this great. Put in a request now to leave work early that Friday. It’ll be worth it!

(Sat) Mad Hatter’s Ball at Muscota Elementary (map), 6pm-9pm. More games and fun for neighborhood students.
