This Sunday was such a joyful experience at Everyday Church. Five dearly loved members of our church family took a new step in their relationship with Jesus by choosing to be baptized. Let’s praise God for their decision to make Jesus their Lord and Savior. Please pray against Satan’s attacks in their lives during the next several weeks. Pray for Viana, Alexcito, Joel, Courtney, and Angelica.
Also, pray for those who are thinking about making this decision. Years ago when I was trying to decide whether or not to be baptized, I asked my pastor how to know when I was ready to make the decision. He suggested that I would feel a recurring pull inside of me that would not be satisfied until I chose to make Jesus the Lord of my life. That is exactly what I felt before being baptized. Over the years, I’ve heard many others describe these same feelings. So let’s pray that many more people would feel this pull and many more baptisms would be in our future at Everyday Church.
